My undergraduate degree is from Michigan State University, where I majored in Chinese and Secondary Education. Working as a teacher has not only provided me people-skills necessary for user research, but also the educational psychology which allows me me insight into design principles.

Currently, I work at Rocket as a Senior CX Researcher after Rocket Homes merged with Rocket Mortgage. I primarily focus on research, though I also utilize design in order to best communicate UX needs to our designers, developers, and product managers. Before finding my current position at Rocket Homes, I was a Senior UX Designer at Thomson Reuters. I also spent two years as an Experience Architect at Pillar Technology, now a part of Industry X.0. If you think a quirky fencer like me would mesh well with your culture, please reach out! If anything, I’d love to nerd out about UX with a fellow UXer.

Besides gaming and design, I keep my life active. I practice graphic art and fence sabre regularly. My past experience as a barista has gifted me with a once-encyclopedic knowledge of coffee, which helps keep me running. I am passionate about people, cats, and the intersection of society and tech.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_btn title=”linkedin” style=”outline-custom” outline_custom_color=”#d1017b” outline_custom_hover_background=”#ffd033″ outline_custom_hover_text=”#0a0a0a” shape=”square” align=”center” i_align=”right” i_icon_fontawesome=”fa fa-linkedin-square” button_block=”true” add_icon=”true” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.linkedin.com%2Fin%2Fgreenmeg|||”][vc_btn title=”medium” style=”outline-custom” outline_custom_color=”#d1017b” outline_custom_hover_background=”#ffd033″ outline_custom_hover_text=”#0a0a0a” shape=”square” align=”center” i_align=”right” i_icon_fontawesome=”fa fa-medium” button_block=”true” add_icon=”true” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fmedium.com%2F%40greenmeg|||”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator][vc_empty_space][awa_skills skills_style=”linear_text” linear_skills=”%5B%7B%22title%22%3A%22coffee%20brewing%22%2C%22number%22%3A%2270%22%2C%22line_color%22%3A%22%23d1017b%22%7D%2C%7B%22title%22%3A%22mario%20kart%22%2C%22number%22%3A%2280%22%2C%22line_color%22%3A%22%23d1017b%22%7D%2C%7B%22title%22%3A%22felinology%22%2C%22number%22%3A%2290%22%2C%22line_color%22%3A%22%23d1017b%22%7D%2C%7B%22title%22%3A%22fencing%22%2C%22number%22%3A%2260%22%2C%22line_color%22%3A%22%23d1017b%22%7D%5D” title=”very legitimate skills” text=”what do these skill bars mean?
